Who can use ImpresCV?
Anyone — students, freelancers, job-seekers, and professionals — may create an account and use ImpresCV. The service is not intended for children under 13. No parental consent is required.
How do I create an account and sign in?
Sign up with your email through the registration page. We use Firebase for authentication; you can reset your password via the "Forgot password" flow if needed.
What data does ImpresCV collect?
We collect information you provide (name, email, resumes, profile data), authentication metadata (managed by Firebase), usage and analytics logs, and payment records via third-party processors. We do not store raw card numbers — payment processors handle that. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
How is my resume data used?
Uploaded resumes are stored on your account and used to power features such as parsing, templates, previews, and export. We may process your content with AI parsers to extract structure or suggest improvements; this processing is used only to provide and improve your experience and is not sold. We do not use your uploaded data to train external models without explicit consent.
Do you share or sell my personal data?
No. We do not sell or rent your personal data. We only share data with trusted service providers necessary to run the Service (Firebase, cloud hosting, analytics, payment processors). All such sharing is governed by our Privacy Policy.
Can I export my resume?
Yes — you can export resumes to PDF from the editor. Saved versions remain on your account so you can create multiple variants and export as needed.
What payment methods do you accept and are refunds available?
Payments are processed by third-party processors such as Stripe, Razorpay, or PayPal. We do not retain card data. Except where required by law, all fees are non-refundable. If a payment processor issues a refund, we will reflect it in our system.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Cancel subscriptions in your account settings. Cancellation prevents future renewals; it does not entitle you to refunds for past billing periods. If you need assistance cancelling, contact us at sheikhdaaim143@gmail.com.
How do I delete my account and data?
You can request account deletion in your account settings or by contacting support. Per our retention policy, accounts and associated data are scheduled for permanent deletion after 365 days (1 year) of inactivity. Some data may remain briefly in backups before permanent removal.
How do you protect my data?
We use industry-standard protections (encryption in transit, access controls, secure hosting). However, no system is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a qualifying breach we will notify affected users as required by law.
Do you use cookies and analytics?
Yes. ImpresCV uses essential cookies (for sessions/auth) and analytics cookies to understand usage and improve the product. Marketing/advertising cookies are not currently used but may be introduced in the future. You can opt out of non-essential cookies in your account settings or via your browser. See our Cookie Policy.
Is ImpresCV available in the European Union?
Our Service is not intended for users located in the European Union and we do not design our processes to be GDPR-compliant. If you are in the EU, please do not create an account.
Can I opt out of AI parsing or automated features?
Core parsing is used to power the editor and resume features. If you prefer that AI parsing not be applied to a particular file, you can choose to enter your data manually rather than uploading a resume. Contact support if you have specific concerns.
What should I do if I see abusive or infringing content?
Report it to us immediately at sheikhdaaim143@gmail.com. If the issue is a copyright infringement, provide details so we can evaluate and, if necessary, follow notice-and-takedown procedures.
What happens if I have a dispute with ImpresCV?
Our Terms of Service require that disputes be resolved by binding arbitration in Jammu & Kashmir, India, and waive class action rights. See the full Terms of Service for details.
