• Payment Info: Handled securely by Stripe or Razorpay — we never store your card details.
• Communications: Emails or messages you send us.
• Log Data: Device info, IP address, pages visited, and usage stats.
• Cookies: For preferences and analytics (Google Analytics).

2. How We Use Your Information

• To run and improve the Service
• To process payments and subscriptions
• To personalize your experience (like templates and AI tips)
• To communicate with you (updates, support, or — with your consent — marketing emails)
• For security, fraud prevention, and legal compliance

3. AI and Your Data

ImpresCV uses AI to improve resumes, cover letters, and portfolios. Here’s how it works:

• AI Provider: We use Google’s Gemini models to generate suggestions.
• No Training: Your personal data is never used to train AI models. Processing is done only to provide the feature.

4. Sharing Your Data

We don’t sell or rent your personal data. We only share it with:

• Cloud hosting (Firebase, Google Cloud, AWS)
• Payment processors (Stripe, Razorpay)
• AI provider (Google, for resume/cover letter suggestions)
• Analytics (Google Analytics, anonymized)
• Legal compliance if required by law

5. Data Retention

We keep your data while your account is active. Accounts inactive for 365 days are permanently deleted. You can also request deletion at any time.

6. Data Security

We use industry-standard security (encryption, secure hosting) to protect your information. No method is 100% secure, but we do our best to keep your data safe.

• Access and update your account details anytime
• Request permanent deletion of your account and data
• Opt out of marketing emails anytime

8. International Data Transfers

ImpresCV is run from India, but your data may be stored on servers outside your country (like the U.S.). By using the Service, you agree to this. We currently do not offer service in the EU.

9. Children’s Privacy

ImpresCV is not for users under 16. We don’t knowingly collect data from children. If we discover such data, we delete it.

10. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy. If we make important changes, we’ll notify you by email or with a notice in the app.
